Limits on our services
 We're primarily a bowed string shop, although we seem well known in the
mandolin community.  We're well equipped and have time for mandolin setup,
troubleshooting, pickup installation, and other fairly simple work.  We're not set up
for pulling apart mandolins, doing finish restoration.  We do not do refrets
Basic Setup $75
 1.  Evaluate mandolin
2.  Fit bridge
3.  Check & level frets
4.  Adjust action via trussrod, bridge and nut
5.  Lower nut top & polish if required
6.  Normal spec:  .062" under G at 12th fret, .049" under E at 12th fret
Bridgework
  • Fit bridge: $50 (bridge extra)
  • Modify bridge $30 (e.g., adjust intonation, lower via woodwork

Nutwork
  • Install new bone nut $55
